Drive to Rowleys Bay Resort

Fly into GRB

Airline travelers will fly into Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB) in Green Bay, WI. As the northeastern Wisconsin airport for business and leisure flights, it is served by American Airlines, Delta Airlines and United Airlines with flights from Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit and Minneapolis.

Alternately, if you have another preferred airline or airport, the host hotel is located approximately a 6 hour drive from Chicago and 4 hours drive from Milwaukee.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION to the Rowleys Bay Resort

We recommend renting a vehicle for the two hour drive through beautiful Door County to the Resort. Rental companies at the airport include Avis / Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and Alamo / National.

Two weeks prior to the event, NAFDMA organizers will help coordinate ALR Registrants to assist in rental car shares and if useful, to help coordinate ground transportation from Green Bay’s Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB).

Rowleys Bay is located 15 minutes from Seaquist Orchard. It is right off Wisconsin 57 North to Highway 42. You will drive directly to Rowleys Bay Resort.

The host hotel for the 2016 Advanced Learning Retreat is the Rowleys Bay Resort located at 1041 Co Road Zz, Ellison Bay, WI 54210.

Rowleys Bay Resort is a Vintage Resort. If you offer, or wish to learn more about, a lodging or bed and breakfast business, this ALR is for you too! We’ll all learn something at this bonus location including bakery, weddings, lodging, employees, guestrooms and ecotourism activities

Second generation owner and partner Jewel Ouradnik is our hostess. She’ll enjoy sharing her stories and business tips too.

TRAVEL TO THE ALR

Fly into your favorite nearby airport and rent a car for a beautiful drive into Door County, Wisconsin.

Arrival Time: The Advanced Learning Retreat officially begins at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Rowleys Bay Resort. We recommend you arrive at least 2 hours earlier. We encourage you to consider arriving as many as 2 days prior to enjoy some relaxation before the learning begins.
Departure Time: The ALR will go well into the ending evening. Your lodging is included for Thursday night. Arrange departure on your preferred schedule Friday morning August 5. Breakfast restaurant opens at 7:30 a.m. Check out time is 11:00 a.m.

Your travel to the host hotel may include a combination of airline, rented vehicle, personal vehicles or NAFDMA coordinated shuttle.
